GA is the abbreviation for General Assembly. According to the statutes, the GA is ARTSCENICO's most important decision-making body. The assembly takes place on Saturday (part 1) and Sunday morning (part 2). The two delegates from the ARTSCENICO member associations are primarily eligible to participate. However, in addition to the two delegates, other members of the member associations may also participate and contribute, although only the delegates are entitled to vote. Upon agreement, guests, e.g., from associations that are not yet members of AS, may also participate. In this case, please write to us if you wish to participate.

Delegates are persons sent by the member association of ARTSCENICO who are entitled to vote; they have the task of representing their association at the GA and voting on behalf of their association. Prior to the General Assembly, delegates should obtain appropriate instructions from their executive boards so that they know how to vote. If the delegates are not able to vote, this complicates and delays the work of ARTSCENICO. Please contact your associations to find out who the delegates are (if you are not one yourself) and how you can get in touch with them.

Each member organisation of ARTSCENICO can send at least 2 delegates. The delegates are eligible to vote in elections during the General Assembly. Each member is free to send more interested people. Non-delegates may attend the meeting but can't vote on behalf of the member. If you live in a country where there is no professional association you can become a member of, and you still want to get to know us and join the ARTSCENICO GENERAL ASSEMBLY, do not hesitate to send us an email. The same applies to organisations that are not yet members of ARTSCENICO. The General Assembly offers the opportunity to get in direct contact with each other. And, of course, all our partners and sponsors are very welcome! The GA is an opportunity to make personal contact and to discuss future actings of the association.

Are you a member of an ARTSCENICO member association? No problem—you are very welcome. Please consult with your colleagues from your association. Please note that a fee is charged for non-delegates. You are a guest and therefore not a member of ARTSCENICO through your professional association (or not yet)?: You are also very welcome. We have to charge a participation fee for Friday and/or Saturday for non-Artscenico members. All our partners and sponsors are very welcome to all events! Board members, delegates, and sponsors are exempt from the fee. The “Working Conditions Conference” event on Sunday is open to the public and admission is free.

As our resources are limited, we are currently reaching our capacity limit with around 50 participants. We try to make all events as open as possible. Please understand that certain events may be reserved for representatives of our members and sponsors only. We also charge a fee for guests and non-delegates. The participation fee covers some of the transportation, snacks/catering, and locations. Please understand that the participation fee cannot be calculated on a one-to-one basis. We would love to invite you all, but our resources are limited. More people means more organisational effort, more technical facilities, more catering and so on.

We are delighted by the high level of interest in this year's General Assembly, but this has led to significantly higher organizational and logistical costs. For these reasons, for the first time this year there will be a participation fee for members of ARTSENICO member-associations who are not official delegates (€50) and for non/notyet-ARTSENICO members or private persons (€150). Board members, delegates, and sponsors do not have to contribute.

Every attendant books their travel and quarter at their own expense. ARTSCENICO does not pay for the accommodation of the attendants, you have to clarify any refunds for your expenses with the professional organization of which you are a delegate or member.
